In 2007 my yearly medical results had an elevated PSA of 4.3, and i went to see
a urologist who performed a prostate biopsy. The results of the biopsy after a
second opinion at John Hopkins hospital was BPH (enlarged prostate, no cancer).
The urologist recommended a supplement called Prostate 2.4 by Theralogix which I
used until August 2011 when my PSA went up to 5.3. I stopped the supplement
because the higher PSA convinced me it did not help.
I went to see my urologist again last year because of the 5.3 PSA score and he
recommended another biopsy. This time after a second opinion from John Hopkins
he told me I have low grade prostate cancer in one core out of 10 cores he took
during the Biopsy. Personally I don't like the biopsies because they are very
painful and I had blood in my urine up to eight weeks after.
Of the treatment options he gave me, surgical removal, branchy therapy seed
implants,
external radiation and active surveillance (PSA tests every three
months and yearly biopsy) I chose the active surveillance option. His preference
was surgery because I was 52 years old and wants to prolong my life.
In December 2011 while watching TV, I Googled "healing prostate cancer
naturally" and found Cliff Beckwith's website about his story with PC and
hundreds of testimonials about the Budwig Diet cure for various forms of Cancer.
The next day December 31, 2011, I started the core BP protocol, and every
morning for breakfast I blend 3 tablespoons of Barleans FO with Nancy's organic
CC. I grind two tablespoons of raw organic flaxseeds, add it to the mix and then
add a teaspoon of honey, one sliced banana and a cup of frozen organic
blueberries. Sometimes I add organic coconut milk because the mixture is too
thick., and raw organic almonds.
On February 20 2012, I had the blood work done for my next
three monthly PSA
test and the results is a PSA level of 3.8, down from 5.3 after seven weeks on
the core BP.
My strategy going forward is to continue the BP, three monthly PSA test and
other none invasive methods of testing for prostate cancer like the free PSA
test and the PCA3 test. As long as my PSA keeps going down biopsies are out for
me for obvious reasons.
I stopped all dairy products including red meat etc in 2008 which lowered my
cholesterol levels from 210 to 173 without medication, and i'm cutrious to know
my cholesterol level from my yearly medical later this year after being on BP
for a few months. I strongly believe BP works from the first day I read Cliff
Beckweith's testimonials and thank him for sharing.
I'm really interested in know the results of your next biopsy but am sure you
already know the answer. Goodluck and thanks for sharing.
