more good news

Dear All,

I am writing to share good news with respect to my wife's situation regarding
brain cancer (astrosaytoma 3).

FACTS
Diagnosed in April 2009: partial removal of the tumor but left a piece of tumor
about 3 cm.
Started a Budwig kind diet (not exactly Budwig but a very similar diet) with
FOCC on May 19, 2009.
Completed 6 cycles of chemo and 6 weeks of radiotheraphy in July 2009.
Concentrated on food sources with strong anti-cancer properties.

DEVELOPMENTS
September 2009 MRI: tumor shranked from 3 cm to 1.8 cm
May 2010 MRI: tumor further shranked from 1.8 cm to 1.6 cm and the tumor started
to loose its density
January 2011: tumor has further shranked 1.6 to 1.2 cm and the tumor further
lost its density
July 2011 (latest): tumor has further shranked from about 1.3 to about 1 cm and
the tumor significantly lost its density

CRITICAL ELEMENTS OF HER DIET
- an almost Budwig diet, including fatty fish, some supplements, home-made
reishi mushroom extract, aloe vera extract
- a regular exercise program and sauna
- stress reduction exercises
- no animal meat, refined foods, sugar, etc

TUGRUL'S 2nd MESSAGE WITH MORE DETAILS

First of all, I like to note that my wife did not have any side effect from
chemo and radiation. She was cheerful even during radiation and she was always
full of energy as if she was not the person who had that heavy radiation.
Basically, the radiation and chemo period was a happy period for her.

She has been using and still uses the following supplements:
Borage oil, Fish oil (sardines, anchovies), Shark liver oil, Boswellia extract
(with Curcuma longa and Turmeric root powder), Selenium, CoQ10 and Multi-vitamin
(Women’s Plus, MultiStart by Dr. Michael Murray).

She eats fatty fish, including herring (once a week). If we find fresh salmon
(wild from Norway) and mackarel, we also eat those (once a month).

She follows an exercise program (with sauna) twice a week and during the day she
is very active and operates as if she does not have any cancer. She also does
"Creative Visualization" exercises whenever she feels to do so during the day.
This is like a part of positive thinking exercise.

She has been living a normal life during the last 2 years. She did not suffer
from any setback at all.

She is always positive and tries to laugh as much as possible.

I hope this information will help others in this group.

Kind regards,
Tugrul Temel
