"My husband and I have been following the Budwig protocol for nearly four
years now. I do not have cancer but my husband has/had male breast cancer ,
diabetes type 2, arthritis, high blood pressure and heart problems. He had
radical mastectomy surgery in June 2004 and the cancer had infiltrated the
chest wall and progressed to his lymph glands. He refused chemo therapy,
hormone treatment and all 'anti cancer' drugs offered and has relied almost
exclusively on Budwig since diagnosis. He did however accept a course of
radiotherapy after surgery with very unpleasant side effects. We try to follow
the programme as faithfully as possible but have had a few serious lapses with
resulting hikes in blood test results, however he has never suffered a days'
illness or pain and his diabetes is under control (he stopped taking
medication for this two years ago but continues with beta blockers for the time
being...) ...he appears to be in good health for a 75 year old..."

After two years and five months on the Budwig program for cancer and
diabetes I am very happy to report that my husbands latest blood tests
show NO EVIDENCE at all of diabetes (he was previously diagnosed as
type 2 diabetes) and NO EVIDENCE of cancer.
He takes no medication for cancer and stopped medication ( metformine)
for the diabetes three months ago as it was causing serious stomach
pains). Thank you Dr Budwig.

Budwig is the best nutritional plan I have ever found. My husband and I have faithfully and happily followed the rules to the best of our ability for seven months.
We are full of energy, fit and healthy, we look fantastic, aches and pains have gone and both of blood pressures have normalised, my vertigo has stopped and my husband's diabetes is now undetectable with blood tests and his breast cancer is NED...(No Evidence of Disease) WE have become food bores and spread the word of healthy eating and the wonders of the Budwig diet to all our friends...

"Here is a very brief history from diagnosis June 2004 until today
about my husband's health--

Male breast cancer ( also diabetes type 2 and high blood pressure)
Dx June 2004. Invasive ductal carcinoma, 4 out of 19 lymph nodes affected
Medical treatment Mastectomy, radiotherapy ( radiotherapy temporarily
damaged throat)

Oncologist recommended chemotherapy and tamoxifen but he declined.

Commenced Budwig protocal July 2004
Almost immediate results... blood pressure dropped, diabetes normal, large
lump on elbow dissapeared and he felt in excellent health.
Additions to basic diet. Red grape juice on waking every morning, green tea,
carrot and apple juice daily. We are as strict with the diet as is humanly
possible, we NEVER miss the morning FO/CC mix but he always drinks two or
three glasses of red wine daily and eats organic chicken and fish occasionally.
No supplements or artificial vitamins etc.
